The 2012 NFL Draft has come and gone and now it’s time to teams to assess their picks and begin to prepare for the upcoming training camp. For the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans, the draft helped fill some holes that were in dire need of filling.

The Cowboys had a balanced need of both defensive and offensive players and selected Morris Claiborne (CB), Tyrone Crawford (DE), Kyle Wilber (OLB), Matt Johnson (SS), Danny Coale (WR), James Hanna (TE), and Caleb McSurdy (ILB).

The Texans had a greater need for defensive players but took more offensive players by taking Whitney Mercilus (DE), DeVier Posey (WR), Brandon Brooks (G), Ben Jones (C), Keshawn Martin (WR), Jared Crick (DT), Randy Bullock (K), Nick Mondek (OT).

I, like most fans, gave both teams a grade of B for this years draft. What are your thoughts?
