The Children’s Performing Arts Series (CPAS) presents the live musical production of “Pippi Longstocking,” which will come to life on the stage of the historic Paramount Theatre in downtown Abilene in a delightful production from American Family Theater.

Based on the best-loved stories by Astrid Lindgren, families will love this rollicking play about Pippi, the strongest girl in the world.

A character beloved by readers for decades, Pippi is a free-spirited, energetic girl who lives happily in a big house with a monkey and a horse for companions and supports herself with an endless supply of gold coins given to her by her pirate father, who has been temporarily lost at sea.

Pippi will take the audience on a rollercoaster ride of fun, mayhem and colorful characters in this American Family Theater “Broadway for Kids” production.

2011-2012 Season tickets are $25 and $40 for all three shows. The $40 VIP level includes admission to “Charlottes’ Web” and “Alice in Wonderland” after parties, where children and their families can enjoy refreshments and craft activities.

Tickets to Pippi Longstocking are $8.00 each.
