Michael Martin Murphey
In his nearly 5 decades of award winning singing and songwriting, Michael Martin Murphey has managed to release 30 albums (6 gold records), which produced a dozen top 10 hits for the life-long Texas resident. A member of the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame, Murphey shows no signs of slowing down. 3M has won several awards in his illustrious career, including and Academy of Country Music Award, and three CMA nominations. Most recently he was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2009 for his 'Buckaroo Blue Grass' CD.
Performing with symphony orchestras is nothing new to Murphey, as he has shared the stage with over 50, including the National Symphony Orchestra.
