Night two of the 2016 CMA Music Festival including standout performances from Sam Hunt, Carrie Underwood and Hank Williams Jr. Frankie Ballard's version of the "Star Spangled Banner" began a great night in Nashville.

Photos show Justin Moore and Chris Janson collaboration with Williams, as well as Eric Church. Underwood also performed, as well as Hunt on piano and Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane. Ballard performed a guitar-only version of the national anthem, evoking Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock in 1968.

The 2016 CMA Festival includes four nights of shows at Nashville's Nissan Stadium, as well as a week's worth of shows and demonstrations in and around Nashville. Highlights from the stadium show will be shown on ABC on August 3. All of Nashville's biggest stars play the CMA Music Festival, and on this night Clint Black was amongst the legends to take the stage. Underwood's harmonica playing skills were amongst another highlight sure to make the broadcast later this summer.

Night one of the CMA Music Festival included many collaborations. Randy Travis joined Charlie Daniels, while Maren Morris teamed with Rascal Flatts. Cam and Lady Antebellum also shared a stage.
