Chris Young is taking another run at the Hall of Fame after winning another Showdown round, this time against his good friend Cassadee Pope. He'll face a challenge from Gary Allan today and Thursday.

Young's latest single is "Sober Saturday Night," a duet with Vince Gill that is the third single from Young's smash album, I'm Comin' Over. Fans have been voting for it very steadily, giving Young four wins in a row. He'll face off with Allan for a shot at the Hall of Fame.

Allan's new single is "Do You Wish It Was Me?," and it's more evidence of why his voice is considered one of the sexiest in country music. A pulsing bass line and distorted organ add interesting texture to a track built around guitar chords for an interesting audio mix that really shines.

Listen to clips of both Young and Allan’s songs and vote for your favorite here. You can vote once every hour until this Showdown ends on Friday at 8AM ET, so come back and vote often to be sure your artist wins. The winner of this matchup will face a new challenger on Friday.

Showdown Rules: The song with the most votes wins, and the winner goes on to face a new challenger in the next Showdown. Vote as much as once per hour online. If a song wins five Showdowns in a row, it will be retired into the Taste of Country Showdown Hall of Fame to allow for new songs to compete. Some songs will be considered for a second Showdown if voter turnout is healthy in a losing effort.
