October 3, 2011 I've kept it to myself for a long time, but it's time I came out of the closet. I am a big Bucky Badgers fan and the reason comes from the schools band and the fans rather than the team itself. They are incredible, the students and fans remain standing through most of the game, they sing, they chant and generally have a great time while the game plays on. And yes even when the badgers are behind the school spirit never seems to change. As you'll see in the video, the game goes on while the fans sing and make lots of noise. The students and fans make it almost impossible for the visiting teams at Camp Randall stadium to hear themselves think let alone call their plays.
Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck has heard of lot of comparisons to Peyton Manning during his time under center for the Cardinal. But now he has another fact in common with the Colts’ injured superstar that is rare in the NFL and almost unheard of in college. Like Manning, Luck is now calling his own plays.
