Krista is an black and white four year old Tabby cat that was turned in by her owner. Abilene Animal Control Shelter employees tell me that Krista is a victim of domestic abuse. It seems that her owner (to save her own life) moved into the NOAH Project and then, she begged animal shelter officers to help find "really good homes" for her two pets. The family's dog was adopted Saturday. Now only Krista the cat remains, sad and alone at the animal shelter looking for a safer environment to call home.
