On Monday's (Dec. 10) semi-finals episode of 'The Voice,' Blake Shelton team member Cassadee Pope turned in an absolutely stunning version of Keith Urban's 'Stupid Boy.' It was a showstopper performance -- one that should have Shelton convinced he has at least one contestant in the finals.

Right now, the country star has both Pope and Scottish rocker Terry McDermott on his winning team. Given the strength and the passion of Pope's performance this week, we'll wager that she will continue on when results are announced Tuesday evening.

Pope wore a striped, jeweled, and strapless gown with her multi-colored hair swept back off her face, looking like a pop-country superstar-in-training, as opposed to the tattooed, pop rocker that she has been in the past. If you didn't know any better, you'd think she was a veteran, performing at a country awards show.

We always thought Pope had a solid voice that was best served singing country tunes. Now we are convinced that she has absolutely found her groove with twangy ballads. Pope's pipes -- we had to -- are nearly pitch-perfect.

Overall, the performance of Urban's 'Stupid Boy' was emotional, moving and gripping. Much like her version of 'Over You,' which Shelton co-wrote with his wife Miranda Lambert about his late brother, Pope proved that pop-country is her domain.

We bet Urban is secretly wishing that Pope had waited to try out for his show, 'American Idol.' But Cassadee Pope isn't going anywhere but to the finals of 'The Voice.' Mark our words.
