Get ready for Cajun Fest this Thursday April 12th during Art Walk in downtown Abilene. Everything gets Started at 5pm and will go until 8 pm. The big fundraiser during this art-walk is the Cajun festival that will take place, complete with a craw-fish dinner and all the fixings. If you want to go, you'll have to get a ticket and get there early.

The Cajun Festival is put on by the Abilene Education Foundation, the monies raised will go toward scholarships and funding the organizations work in the community. Tickets for the dinner are only $10 and will be available during Art walk at the Cajun Fest tent near the corner of North 4th and Cypress Street in Downtown Abilene (kids hot-dog dinner plate is only $5).

The Center for Contemporary Arts will also be open, as will be the Grace Museum, the Library and several art galleries downtown. Art Walk is free and open to the public.
