The Abilene Chamber of Commerce hosts it's annual "Business Expo" in March every year. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic the Expo had to be put off. The Chamber is hosting the Business Expo on Wednesday, August 19th, from 10am until 4pm.

The theme this year is 'Every Movie Has a Script and Every Business Has a Story'. Kim Bosher Director of events for the Abilene Chamber of Commerce says "This year more than ever before, every business does have a story to tell especially since the coronavirus pandemic has hit our city."

Bosher says that, the 'Business Expo' helps all the businesses that participate. Since the pandemic has affected how business is done. The Chamber is adjusting the way it will host this years event, in order to insure a safe and successful Business Expo.

This year, the Expo will be adhering to all the CDC, State and local guidelines, as you'll see in the video above as to what one can except to be able to gain entrence into the event. Another major plus, is that you don't have to be a Chamber member to get in free, because everyone gets in free to the 2020 Abilene Business Expo this Wednesday.

The usual "Business After Hours" that follows the Expo will also take place and everyone is invited to participate as food trucks and adult beverage vendors will be on hand for an opportunity to socialize with other community business owners.
