Is Brett Eldredge is getting ready to dole out a second dose of holiday cheer? The country star says, yes, he's recorded more Christmas music.

In early June, Eldredge teased the project on Instagram: He posted a video from the recording studio, with Big Band-style music playing and "Glow 2.0" written out on a yellow notebook next to his initials. To make the post complete, he captioned it "Still Glowing," with a Santa emoji next to a whiskey glass emoji.

Not so fast, though ...

“I don’t even know if it’s called Glow 2.0. [But] I’m expanding on Glow,” Eldredge tells Nash Country Daily. “The whole idea of recording a Christmas record was something that was always a dream of mine, but recording it in a way where it was the classics, the Big Band way. Doing it in New York, recording these songs, sipping on whiskey and living that Big Band lifestyle in New York was a dream."

Eldredge released the original Glow in 2016; it includes 11 tracks, such as the holiday classics "Silent Night," "I'll Be Home for Christmas" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside." The singer admits that the response to the project was "just incredible" and made him "want to expand on it" -- so, he gathered the same crew and headed back to New York.

"I stayed in New York and lived there for several days again and just got in that environment, and the music turned out magic again," he shares. "Just hearing those horns and the strings and being there, just feeling that — it’s a recording process and a feeling of making music that I’ve never really had. It’s just incredible."

Eldredge hasn't shared any release details about Glow 2.0 (or whatever he decides to call it), "but it's gonna be coming," he says. "Get ready for Christmas."
