Brenda Kay and the Caprock Drifter to Play at Dukes Pub Nov. 2nd [AUDIO]

I saw a concert poster poster promoting that 'Brenda Kay will be doing and acoustic set with the Caprock Drifter on Friday, November 2nd in Brownwood at the famed Dukes Pub and Grub.' Which got me asking "is there was any new music from Brenda Kay out yet?" I believe in the old adage "if you ask you will receive." I asked and I got a couple of replies and the low and behold in my 'in-box' I got a Brenda Kay email.

The email was from Miss Kay herself, and it said "I heard that you were asking about my music. Here is my new favorite song. Hope you like it!"

I've always liked Brenda Kay because she is real, she keeps her music fresh and she stays in touch with her fans (me being one of them). With Brenda Kay it's about the music and her fans, she always seems to connect the two. She owns her music, not in the physical aspect, I mean whether she's singing one of her songs she wrote or doing a cover tune, "she owns it".
