Congratulations are in order for rising country singer Brandon Lay and his wife Nicole, who recently welcomed their first child, a son named Ryder Knox Lay, to the family! Lay announced the arrival of his new bundle of joy in a post on his Instagram account on Thursday (Sept. 27): "God is so good. He and Nicole are doing great and we appreciate all of the prayers and support," Lay writes. "Here we go [Nicole].You are the toughest person I know and the rock of our family."

Also in exciting family news, singer-songwriter Charlie Worsham married Kristen Korzenowski on Sept. 22. According to People, the couple tied the knot at Christ the King Catholic Church in Nashville, then headed to the Grand Ole Opry's Studio A for a reception with family and friends. The Time Jumpers were on hand to perform, and Nashville heavyweights including producer Frank Liddell and songwriter Luke Dick were in attendance.

RaeLynn is headed out on tour this fall. Starting on Oct. 12, she'll partner with SiriusXM's The Highway channel for a series of headlining shows. The trek kicks off at Joe's Live Rosemont in Chicago, Ill., and will conclude in Houston, Texas, on Dec. 12, at the House of Blues. A stop at Nashville's Cannery Ballroom on Nov. 1 is on the schedule, and more shows are to be announced; select dates will feature rising singer-songwriter Ross Ellis.

Chely Wright has announced plans to release a brand-new, holiday-themed EP. Titled Santa Will Find You, the project will feature six original songs penned by Wright and co-writers including Mindy Smith and Richard Marx. A photo of a 3-year-old Wright surrounded by family on Christmas morning, taken in 1973, will serve as the EP's cover art. “I’m a mom and a wife. I’m a sister. I’m a friend. I’m a voting American. I’m an openly gay artist who is known to be a country music artist,” Wright says in a statement. “We have a lot of stories to tell as humans. Advocacy is part of my story, and singing about Christmas is part of my story as well.” Santa Will Find You is set for release on Oct. 26 via Painted Music Group.

Miranda Lambert, Luke Combs and Randy Houser are set to perform at the fourth annual Maui Songwriters Festival. Held at the Grand Wailea resort in Maui, Hawaii, the festival will feature Lambert performing alongside Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe as part of the Pistol Annies' reunion, along with performances from the Doobie Brothers' Tom Johnston, Lukas Nelson, Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel and Jessi Alexander. The festival is scheduled for Nov. 29-Dec. 1, and tickets go on sale on Oct. 6.

Canaan Smith will join Florida Georgia Line when the duo kicks off their five-night residency at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. According to MusicRow, Smith is signed to FGL's TreeVibez Music Publishing company, and has written songs for the duo, Jason Aldean and Cole Swindell. Florida Georgia Line's residency is scheduled for Dec. 1, 5, 7, 8 and 11 at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
