If you are dying to see Blake Shelton perform, we've got one word for you: Twitter. The award-winning, hilarious country crooner has taken to his favorite social media platform this week to announce a few surprise shows to his followers.

On Thursday afternoon (March 21), Shelton posted a tweet that sent fans into a frenzy: "Greenville, South Carolina . . . You!!!!!! Blindhorse saloon tonight!!! Be there." By that evening, thousands of 'Over You' fans were lined up in front of the Blind Horse Saloon, hoping to catch a glimpse of the beloved country singer.

Of course, if you know anything about Shelton, you know he can't just announce a surprise show that simply. 'The Voice' coach started out tweeting about doing some work on his farm, but then mentioned that the rain was going to keep him inside.

"Hey . . .  I know!!!! Maybe I should just set up somewhere and play country music FOR FREE ALL NIGHT LONG. Like we did back in the old days," he hinted before announcing the show.

At first, it seemed like a one-time thing, but on Friday (March 22), Shelton announced another surprise gig in Macon, Ga. "That's it!!!! I have got to do another free country music celebration!!! Macon, Georgia.. YOU!!!! Whiskey River tonight!! Be there," he posted to his 2.7 million followers.

It looks like Whiskey River is going to be welcoming a packed house tonight. If you're in Macon, you better jump at the chance to see Shelton play for free!
