Big and Rich who are Kenny Alphin and John Rich are receiving the Artist Humanitarian Award for 2013 during the February CRS. The two are being recognized for their work individually as well as together for charities, especially those concerning women and children.

CRS or Country Radio Seminar is a time for artists, labels and radio personnel to gather and discuss music and ideas for the year.

The two men have loaned their talent, time and funds to charities such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Special Olympics, National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Second Harvest Food Bank, the 173rd Airborne Memorial Fund and many others. "

This award will be added to the many others they already own which include multiple Grammy's, ACM, CMA and CMT awards.  They have recently released their first studio album in 4 years, 'Hillbilly Jedi'.  That album already has garnered a chart topping single "That's Why I Pray" and new single "Party Like Cowboyz".

They will be given the award on Wednesday, February 27th during a ceremony in Nashville.
