Hold on to your cowls, Batfans, because Batman: Arkham Origins will be coming to consoles later this year!

Game Informer just revealed that their May issue will be focused on Batman: Arkham Origins and how Rocksteady Studios has passed the torch to Warner Bros. Games Montreal to craft the next Arkham adventure.

For those of you worrying that the game won't have the same feel of Rocksteady's Batman games, it should offer you some sort of relief to know that WB Montreal will be using a custom modified Unreal engine, so that things should be somewhat familiar.

The game will feature a story that takes place during Batman's salad days, back when he first met the villains who would go on to become the stars of his infamous Rogues' Gallery.

According to Game Informer, the game will be released on October 25th, 2013 for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
