I love to read but I have to have the right book. I am currently reading "The Duck Commander Family" written by Willie and Korie Robertson. (I know, big surprise!)  I would like to read at least 5 books this summer so I'm already looking for great stuff that hopefully will intrigue me. As I did my research I was surprised to find so many 'classics' on the list as were many books that have recently been made into movies.

I'm on the fence with technology sometimes; it can be great and time saving but it can also put people out of jobs. Take for example this new idea that Wal-Mart is trying in about 200 of it's more than 4000 stores. It's called Scan & Go and it allows you to use your iPhone to scan your purchases as you go and simply pay when you leave. However, I have a feeling that it will eliminate peoples jobs too.

Scott Brown of Scooter Brown Band, and Josh Pitts have established the Hero Hike that will raise money to send wounded veterans on Elk hunts in Western Colorado in memory of former SEAL Team 3 sniper Chris Kyle. This is a 96.5 mile hike, along the Lone Star Trail, that will start March 25th and conclude March 30th.

I recently saw the movie 'Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift' and although I'm not much of a fast car aficionado it was pretty impressive. I have no idea how they keep the tires on the track/street. I have a tendency to sit in front of the TV yelling and that's just not good. I made my first round picks yesterday and now have to narrow it down to my sweet sixteen, final 4 and finally my Champion! See, I'm already stressing now.

Women face a daily struggle with image issues and most of the time it deals with weight. Media has a lot to do with those images too.
