If the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ Trailer Came Out in 1982
It’s been 35 years since Ridley Scott’s original Blade Runner debuted and forever changed the landscape of science-fiction cinema. And 35 years later, the film is making an improbable comeback in theaters this fall in Blade Runner 2049, produced by Scott and directed by Denis Villeneuve. Harrison Ford returns to his role as Blade Runner Rick Deckard, with Ryan Gosling joining him as Officer K and Jared Leto playing himself (we think).
How ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Trailer Would Have Looked in 1983
When he was still in charge of Lucasfilm, George Lucas liked to say that Star Wars was like poetry; it rhymed, in a cycle of repetition. There was Return of the Jedi, and then many years later (or some years before, depending on how you look at things) there was Revenge of the Sith...

Worst to First: Every Disney Princess Ranked
Once upon a time, a man with a dream turned a small animation studio into a global empire. Much of that success was built on a series of wildly popular feature films, many of which shared a common figure: A beautiful, heroic princess. The man was Walt Disney and even after he passed away in 1966, his company continued to dedicate much of its creative energy on films (and television shows and untold tons of merchandise) dedicated to princesses. The latest, a live-action version of the studio’s Oscar-nominated cartoon Beauty and the Beast, opens in theaters on Friday. In its honor, the staff of ScreenCrush (and Mousterpiece Cinema co-host Josh Spiegel) decided to rank every single Disney princess in history.

Watch Jimmy Kimmel’s 2017 Oscars Monologue
Following a rather, um, energetic opening number in which Justin Timberlake transformed the 2017 Oscars into a vaguely kid-friendly dance club featuring his song from Trolls, Jimmy Kimmel took the stage to deliver his opening monologue. In case you missed it, never fear because ABC has graciously uploaded it for your viewing pleasure.

Learn the Secrets of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’
You probably know that The Secret Life of Pets was produced by Illumination Entertainment, the animation studio behind Despicable Me and Minions. But did you know the Minions make several hidden cameos in Secret Life of Pets? It’s true; look for them in the fridge at Max’s house and on the bedside table of the guinea pig’s owner. That’s just one of the despicable facts featured in the newest episode of You Think You Know Movies!
