I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as quick as I could. I'm originally from Battle Creek, Michigan (home of Tony the Tiger). I've got two kids who take up most of my time out of the office, but when I get "me time", I'm either taking in some live music or a sporting event. Since relocating, I also fell in love with the Texas music scene. I've been lucky enough to be nominated for DJ of the Year 4 straight years by the Academy of Texas Music, and was the 2009 recipient of the Academy's Palmwood Award. I'm a huge sports fan, and my loyalties are with the Michigan Wolverines, Chicago White Sox and (sorry) the Pittsburgh Steelers.

I know a lot of people who flip out every time McDonald's brings back the McRib. I've got friends who can't get through a week without a trip to Sonic for their addictive tots. For me, I'm always searching for something different. And that's what I hoped to find when I heard about a brand new breakfast sandwich at Whataburger.

Autism Awareness Card Gives an Eye-Opening Experience
I was shopping with my son at the Mall of Abilene a while back. Near the main entrance, we saw a small, maybe 5 year old boy, having what appeared to be an epic meltdown. So, we stuck around to find out what the heck was going on.

Dave Puts Shay’s iPhone Speaker Made From a Toilet Paper Roll to a Product Challenge
I saw Shay's video about how to make an iPhone speaker out of a roll of toilet paper, and how you can amplify your music with a couple of scores from an X-ACTO knife. I'm a conspiracy theorist by nature, so I decided to put Shay's toilet paper speaker to the test.

Dave Meets the Easter Bunny and a Clown Raising Money for a Clyde Teen Injured in a Car Wreck
I hit the streets over the weekend with the intention of meeting people in Abilene and the Big Country. So when I was driving down South Clack and saw the Easter Bunny, a Clown and a BBQ pit at the side of the road (sounds like the start of a bad joke, doesn't it?) I had to stop and investigate.
