I've watched a couple of the episodes of the National Geographic TV show "Doomsday Preppers" and I have to say I'm a little intrigued and frightened at the same time. I'm from the school of thinking that if something happens to wipe out the world then I don't really think I would want to survive myself. However, I try to watch the show with an open mind but some of what the "preppers" do is a little crazy and dramatic in my mind.

"Preppers" practice doomsday bug out drills, stock pile food, water, ammunition and other life sustaining equipment. I have enough trouble getting home from the grocery store with what I need for the week much less stock piling for a doomsday aftermath. So tell us your opinion on "Preppers".
