Calling all parents, family members and teachers, the Abilene Region 14 Education Service Center and the Autism Speaks foundation are hosting the "12th Annual Autism Extravaganza" kick-off luncheon at the ACU Hunter Welcome Center. The featured speaker is Lynn Stansberry Brusnahan, PhD. Dr. Brusnahan will share her unique experiences, as she and her young adult son with autism present this interactive session on Autism Spectrum Disorder.

This event actually serves as a workshop to help the families and teachers alike, learn more about autism disorders. There is no registration fee for the event, and a baked potato lunch is provided for everyone. Register online at the Region 14 Education Service Centers website.
