I didn't watch the CMT Music Awards last night. I didn't even know they were on 'till the whole world collectively began bashing the show on Twitter.

I was, instead, at Coach's in Tyler hanging with Bri Bagwell, who put on a great acoustic performance.

But back to the CMT Music awards.

You know things have gotten real bad when FOX News is discussing how bad the presentation was the next morning. Apparently performances by Pitbull, Cheap Trick, and Leona Lewis don't appeal to country fans. Wonder who thought it would?

The coolest moment (of the show I missed) came this morning. BJ Barham, of American Aquarium, posted the below pic of influential music producer and The Voice judge, Pharrell Williams (who also performed last night, and made his Grand Ol Opry debut this week??), wearing his band's hat.

Actually that was the second best. The first best was when Barham's bassist, Bill Corbin, questioned the legitimacy of the photo. He assumed BJ had been doing some photo-shopping. But I can't find the thread.

The comment and thread must have been removed after he realized the photo hadn't, in fact, been altered. I suppose you'll have to take my word that the photo evidence BJ submitted over and over again to Bill on Facebook to prove it was not a joke, was entertaining.

Lesson learned; screen shot, everything.

The North Carolina-based band make their way back to Texas this summer beginning June 30th in Houston, and wrapping their Lone Star State run July 9th with their first-ever headlining show at Gruene Hall.
