Abilene’s Paramount Theatre Presents ‘Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Jr.’ January 18-20 [VIDEO]

One of my favorite Disney productions "Beauty and the Beast" will be coming to the Paramount Theatre this weekend. However, there is a little twist. The production is done by a junior cast, meaning there are no adult actors; only kids. The age range of the actors is from 8-14 years old and the production has been edited and scaled down.

The full show runs about 90 minutes and everything from sets to costumes have been scaled down to kid size. The production allows kids a chance to see if this is something they could be interested in far into the future. For some this is their first time on stage for others, well they are seasoned veterans.

You will see lots of drama, dance, singing and fun. It's perfect for the weekend family outing.
