Last week I posed the question "What is the appropriate age for a child to have a cell phone?". We got a lot of spirited input on this topic, and as expected, the final poll results are extremely close. The winner? It was a close call.

Our poll shows that over 27% of participants believe that kids 13-15 should be allowed to carry cell phones. The answer "Any age, but with rules about usage" came in 2nd, with nearly 23% of the vote, followed by ages 16-17 and "When he/she can afford to pay for it" tying for third with 18%.

Thanks for participating. My son (who turns 13 soon) thanks you, too!
