How would your child like a free airplane ride? The Abilene Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 471 is doing it again this year offering all kids ages 8 to 17 a short airplane ride on Saturday, November 10th at the Abilene Regional Airport. The Abilene EAA 'Young Eagle' program celebrates it's 20th year.

The Abilene Experimental Aircraft Association's Young Eagle program has helped develop the next generation of young aviators in America and continues to introduce more children to flying through events such as the one the EAA is holding at the Abilene Regional Airport Saturday. If you'd like your child to learn to appreciate flying, then head on over to the Abilene airport with child in tow. Event organizers say that the age restriction is non-negotiable, kids must be between 8 to17 no exceptions.
