Abilene area enlisted Air Force members spend many of their Saturdays washing cars in local business parking lots. They wash cars not for their own organization, but rather to help out other non-profit charitable organizations in our community. This coming Saturday July 21st, the 'Dyess We Care Team' (DWCT) will be back at it after a small set back. Same intersection, different corner.

The Dyess air Force Base, We Care Team is back in business after their previous location was shut down due to the fact that 'Red Robin' went out of business, and that was the location of their many car washes. The DWCT will still be at the corner of Southwest Drive and Catclaw. Only now, they are in the Rosa's Mexican Food Restaurant parking lot.

The team is very excited to host their car wash fundraisers to assist other non-profit groups. Proceeds from this event will benefit 'Friends for Life' which is an organization whose mission is to provide needed assistance for the elderly and those with disabilities that don’t have family or friends to help them.
