While Aaron Watson has been gearing up for the release of his new album titled 'The Underdog.' Produced by Keith Stegall, the same guy who produces Alan Jackson, George Jones and Zac Brown. Aaron has something else to to think about nowadays. Aaron will soon realize a lifelong dream. To perform at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville Tennessee. The Texas troubadour will make his Grand Ole Opry debut March 31.

Speaking from his publicists office, Aaron says "I'm thrilled about getting to perform on the Grand Ole Opry, I've looked forward to this night ever since I can remember; it's a dream come true." About his new album, Watson went on to say "'The Underdog' has taught me a lot of lessons, I'm excited about this record. To be 15 years, 12 albums, and 2000 shows into my career and to feel like I'm just getting started, man that's a good feeling."

In the meantime, Watson continues touring across America stopping off here in Abilene for an intimate dinner and show called 'Date Night Out' Tuesday, February 10th at the Silo 5477 S.7th.
