Aaron Watson is a true gentleman and friend with a big heart. He has promised to donate proceeds from the online sale of his album to help a fellow musician with a sick child.

Most Texas Music artists are not just fellow musicians but also friends and when one is in trouble the others step in to help. That is the case with Aaron Watson and Josh Ward.

Josh has a little 8 year old boy named Jayce, whom Aaron has befriended, who has been in and out of the hospital since March 6th, when he had his tonsils removed.  He's having a hard time recovering from that and other ailments as well. It's been almost 3 weeks and the bills are beginning to roll in now. Aaron has decided to donate the online proceeds from his new album Underdog to Josh to help pay those mounting medical costs.

Aaron is no stranger to the hardships of having a sick child as home while he is on the road; as he has children of his own. And he isn't doing this for publicity. Aaron truly has a soft spot for children and his fellow Texas artists. It's this show of kindness and friendship that makes me proud to, not only know these guys, but to call them friends. We wish the best to Josh, his son and his family during this time.

If you would like to help out with a donation you can buy Aaron's album online or make a donation through the Go Fund Me page set up by Josh's family. The family is also keeping everyone updated on Jayce's progress on the Go Fund Me page as well.

A special thanks to Katie Key of the Texas Music Chart for bringing this to our attention.
