A six-year-old girl will always remember the time she met the Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen was presented with a bouquet of flowers by six-year old Maisie as part of the tradition. After Maisie handed over the flowers, a saluting soldier accidentally hit her in the face and knocked the child's hat off.

The accident occurred during a ceremony where Queen Elizabeth II was honoring The Royal Welsh with new colors.

Maisie's dad, is Regimental Sergeant Major Martin Gregory and he said "she was a bit upset, but after I let her wear my hat and carry my sword she became quite cheerful."
