70 Year Old Love Letter Finds It’s Way Back to Owner

A 90 year old man gets back a lost love letter written to his future wife some 70 years ago. The WWII Vet wrote it while overseas fighting the war, in 1945.

World War II Vet, Bill Moore was married to his beloved Bernadean for 63 years; they had been in love for 70. Bernadean saved all the letters she received from Bill but somehow they were all lost when she passed away a few years back. One letter however, was discovered tucked inside a record album that had been purchased by a woman from a thrift shop. She spent 6 months trying to locate Bill and Bernadean; she found instead their daughter, Gale.

Gale took the letter to her father, who lives in a retirement home, and he couldn't believe it. He cries tears of love, joy and happiness as he reads his own words to his sweetheart. Saying simply, 'I loved her'. Such sweet words from an amazing man to the love of his life.
