As the year comes to a close, I always like to reflect on the year in music. This is a best of the best list, this is the 'cream that rose to the top'. Will names like Strait or Chesney make it on this list? I'm not wasting anymore time, let's count down the top 10 songs of 2012. Miranda Lambert is as down-home of stage as she is hunting in West Texas with super-star hubby Blake Shelton, in my opinion shes the real deal. Miranda deserves to be counted among the 'Best of the Best.' Miranda Lambert  comes in at #6 in our Top 10 of 2012.

The #5 song for 2012 'Baggage Claim,' Miranda Lambert sings about luggage she wishes she could lose. However Miranda comes bearing a lot of baggage of her own, good baggage though, like: She is country’s reigning female vocalist of the year, as bestowed by both the Country Music Association (CMA) and the Academy of Country Music (ACM). She’s won the album of the year from both CMA and ACM, as well as the ACMs record of the year, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and from the CMAs and ACMs for her album, 'Revolution.' She received a Grammy for “The House That Built Me.”

She’s been named one of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People and one of Maxim’s Hottest Women of Country music. So when “Baggage Claim” was released, Miranda may have learned for the first time, she is now considered an instant add at country radio stations across America. To further prove it, her latest single 'Mama's Broken Heart' was added to this station two weeks prior the the projected add date. All because Miranda Lambert fans are intense and they want to hear her now, and that's good for both radio and Miranda.
