It what appears to be a cross between Jackass meets the Chuck Barris of the Gong Show. The show doesn't appear to me, to have any rhyme or reason. The show sees eight contestants compete to be the winner of a $50,000 prize by picking the right answers to general knowledge questions. Competitors who pick wrong answers are eliminated from the game in a variety of different ways, usually involving a large drop into a pool of water. It will get your adrenaline going when you see these everyday ordinary people being mauled by a pit-bull or jerked off a pier by a rather large anchor and submerged into a lake.

The show made its debut on BBC One on July 10th 2010. An American version, hosted by Jeff Sutphen, premiered June 21, 2011 on ABC TV. Each episode features eight contestants, with a mix of sexes, ages and backgrounds, competing to be the winner of the $50,000 cash. Contestants are reduced one by one in the first four rounds, attempting to guess the correct answers to a selection of multiple-choice questions. The contestant who chooses the wrong answer will leave the show in one of the '101 Ways To Leave A Game-show'. At any time during the first four rounds, a buzzer could sound, which announces the start of the Emergency Exit round. In the final round, four contestants remain, who have to answer one last question in an attempt to win the jackpot prize.
